“It does not matter how slowly
you go as long as you do not
stop.” —Confucius
Hi, I'm Cynthia, a curious and dedicated software developer who thrives on learning and solving problems. With a background in law, business, and project coordination, I’ve successfully transitioned into the world of technology. I’m a lawyer and public notary (Escribana Pública, civil law system), graduated from the National University of La Plata (UNLP) in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Having lived in different countries — including the U.S. — I bring a global perspective and strong communication skills, and I speak four languages fluently.
My journey began with hands-on training in Java development, where I created a real estate management desktop application using JavaFX, MySQL, and JDBC.
Currently, I’m expanding my knowledge in web development, building projects like this personal portfolio website with HTML, CSS and JavaScript and exploring backend technologies.
I bring a unique perspective shaped by my diverse background—combining the structured thinking of a lawyer with the problem-solving mindset of a developer. Having navigated a journey from law to tech, I understand how to adapt, learn, and persist in the face of challenges.
A strong sense of purpose and a genuine interest in building meaningful solutions guide my work on every project. I’m passionate about creating software that not only works but also positively impacts people's lives.
I’m also someone who doesn’t shy away from hard work and takes pride in learning something new every day, constantly refining my skills in both technical development and understanding the real-world needs of people who use the software.
I believe that technology is a powerful tool for turning ideas into impactful realities that help people both as individuals and as a society, and I want to be part of the positive changes that technology and software development bring to the world.
In the future, I aspire to deepen my knowledge in both computer science and law, with the goal of combining these fields to address challenges at the intersection of technology and legal systems. Whether it’s contributing to legal tech solutions, improving access to justice through technology, or building secure and ethical software, I aim to bridge the gap between these two disciplines.
I’m excited to collaborate on projects that challenge me and allow me to learn and grow as a developer while making a meaningful contribution.
